About Kroo

Kroo is the leading data management platform for the construction industry. We help the people who build the world we live in make sense of their data through out-of-the-box data integrations, automated pipelines, warehousing, and AI-driven analytics.

We are currently backed by two best-in-class investors who have strong track records for identifying industry-defining startups like Kroo. We are also advised by a former construction tech founder who led their company to a successful exit.

  • Afore Capital is a top early-stage generalist fund with tremendous success in backing industry-disrupting startups including Modern Health, Neo, Hightouch, Overtime, Flatfile, and more. Afore’s early-stage investments have raised more than $2 billion dollars collectively, with 34x following every $1 invested by Afore from top generalist investors including A16Z, Accel, General Catalyst, Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed, Founders Fund, Coatue, Redpoint, Craft Ventures, and many more.
  • Suffolk Technologies is the leading venture fund for the AEC / built world and is one of the most active investors in this space with an unparalleled track record growing the biggest names in this vertical. Suffolk Technologies is the independent venture arm of Suffolk Construction, one of the largest construction companies in the US doing more than $5 billion annually. Their portfolio features some of the most influential built world tech companies, such as Procore, EquipmentShare, Kojo, OpenSpace, SoilConnect, Rugged Robotics, and more.
  • Javed Singha serves as an advisor to Kroo, and Javed was the co-founder and former president of Fieldwire, one of the most prevalent jobsite management software companies for construction. Javed led the company to a successful acquisition by HIlti Group in 2021 for more than $300 million. Javed currently advises the Software Board of Hilti Group. He brings an intricate understanding of construction, having served thousands of contractors on millions of projects.

The current team is headquartered in New York City with an additional location in San Francisco. Collectively, the team has experience with over $6 billion in construction projects across previous careers and building industry-defining software valued at more than $9 billion. Kroo’s customer base comprises general contractors and specialty contractors doing anywhere from $100 million to $5 billion in annual revenue.
