We’re hiring a Financial Systems Analyst II to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Epicor BisTrack and requires close collaboration with accounting, operations, and IT teams. As our Forge&Build division continues to expand and integrate new business operations, this role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and effective utilization of various platforms to support financial operations activities.

Salary range: $82k-$93k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.

Primary Responsibilities

Data Acquisition, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and Integration:

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into Epicor BisTrack.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
  • Acquire and prepare data from various sources for import into Epicor BisTrack.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to define data requirements and ensure data availability.
  • Leverage the use of APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) to deliver data to downstream ERPs and bolt-on systems.
  • Integrate Epicor’s software with other systems.

ERP Administration:

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Epicor BisTrack.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security within these environments.
  • Perform routine system checks, updates, and troubleshooting to address performance or functionality issues.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Assist in supporting online sales, customer interactions and order processing.
  • Assist in managing website backend data for content, product catalogs, fulfillment workflows, etc...

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate and distribute financial reports using data from Epicor BisTrack and other relevant systems.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support financial audits and compliance activities by providing necessary data and reports.
  • Assist accounting teams in report creation.

Project Management:

  • Participate in system upgrades, implementations, migrations and enhancements.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects related to financial systems.
  • Provide business insight and continuity through strong documentation practices.
  • Ability to bridge finance and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in Epicor BisTrack.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data management principles.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and website administration, specifically Magento Open Source.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Epicor Commerce.
  • Experience in the Lumber and Building Materials industry.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Computer Science or other technical degree. Coding and/or Accounting Certifications will also be considered.
  • At least 4+ years of proven experience using SQL to solve problems.

Physical Requirements

  • Up to 10% travel for legacy system migrations/go-lives.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
