EquipmentShare is Hiring a Product Manager

EquipmentShare is searching for a Product Manager for our Manufacturing office in Moberly, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Use your high judgment to deliver results for a product or suite of products
  • Lead research and discovery efforts for your product
  • Be the primary source of deep knowledge of users and customers, and the data about how customers engage with your product
  • Track industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to your product
  • Commit to results and achieve them through influence and working with others
  • Work both as an individual contributor role. Influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic
  • Define the product vision and strategy alongside the senior management

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5-7 years working on construction equipment related products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, or user researcher

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods at a time
  • This position will be located in Moberly, Missouri with occasion travel to Columbia Missouri and customer sites
